Day 180: A Stroll in the Park

Today has been a very fun and very productive day! We made a schedule out to better plan our days and I must say, it worked out perfectly :)

Today's Positives.

1. We read a bible story as a family this morning, it was a great way to start the day.

2. After breakfast we took a stroll to the park and got to see the river. It was very relaxing and wore the kids out for nap time!

3. I got to dance with Gracie today, she was spinning and everything :)

4. James enjoyed climbing all over me and "tackling" me.

5. Gracie, James, Mummy and I all played in the kids room for a while. Gracie and James enjoyed hiding in their bear tent!

6. I thought we were still playing peek a boo through the tent but when I came out both the kids were cuddled into mummy!

7. Gracie decided to just go sit on the couch and look at the window for a long time. It was adorable.

8. James was fussy so Gracie brought over a fire truck and police car for him to play with. He was all smiles after that.

Well it's been a full day but we had a great time!

Day 179: October 8th

Today has been kinda quiet. Gracie is super sick at the moment. She has laid in bed sleeping and watching Veggie Tales all day.


James hung out with Daddy and they made dinner together. He also got to play with Cousin L this morning while we took Gracie to the doctors.

The best part of Gracie's day was eating pedialite freezer pops!

James did also discover the fun of pulling all the toys off the shelves.

Ohhhh and my little man also got his first pair of shoes. I was going to put them back on the shelf but he stuck out his little lip, took them out of my hand and gently put them in the cart next to him. How could I resist? I think we may need to post a picture of his first time wearing them soon :)

Day 178: 1, 2 skip a few 99, 100

Okay, Serious blog failure has occurred. Partially due to lack of Internet and largely due to lazyitus.

Today I am taking a step towards getting back on track!

A few days worth of positives:

1: James now knows the difference between Mama and Dada. He called Matt for the first time today!

2: Grace has grown so much her tummy is sticking out of her shirts by about 3inchs!

3: James has stood independently 2 times in the past 2 days

4: Gracie is talking in sentences more and more. She is going to be quite the chatter box.

5: Both of the kids had a great time at Co-op. James loves to climb in the tree  house but seems to forget he can't get out. I had to save him from falling on his head a couple of times!

6: Gracie has taken to looking at picture books with me and telling me the different things on the pages. It's funny to have her read me stories!
