Scripture

There are many day's that God lays his word on my heart to help me deal with specific trials of the day.
I wanted to add this so I can share the words of encouragement that help me.

Today's Scripture:

Romans 12:10

10 Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.

Psalm 84:3-4

Even the sparrow has found a home,
and the swallow a nest for herself,
where she may have her young—
a place near your altar,
Lord Almighty, my King and my God.
Blessed are those who dwell in your house;
    they are ever praising you.

Proverbs 16:24

Kind words are like honey--sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.

Matthew 19:14

But Jesus said, "Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children."

Proverbs 22:6

New King James Version (NKJV)
Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it.

I have to remind my self this when I am putting Gracie in timeout for the 5th time that day and I start to feel like a mean Mummy!

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

This almost feels like an instruction manual for being a mother. This is how I strive to love my children.
